About PickRated

PickRated exists for one moment: the evening you've got twelve tabs open, comparing two machines that cost as much as a holiday, and you just want someone to tell you straight.

We cover a small number of big-ticket categories in depth rather than everything thinly. Our reviews are written for UK buyers, with UK plugs, UK warranties and UK retailers in mind.

What we are: a review desk. We bring together manufacturer specifications, long-term owner feedback, independent expert testing and the practical questions buyers actually ask.

What we are not: a lab. Where we haven't used a product ourselves we say so, and we never invent test results.
